WHY TRACS MAKE ACTUATORS ?

  • TRACS Gate or Damper Actuators are recommended based on Individual Application as against offering a standard valve actuator. Selection of actuator is most crucial & also elaborate in Gates & Damper applications as compared to valve application. Hence TRACS Actuators exposed to this type of applications are more reliable than any Standard Valve Actuator Manufacturer.
  • In TRACS Gate & Damper Actuators the Overload and Torque sensing assembly is fitted on the First element of the Actuator Output Shaft i.e. on the Screw Shaft (For Linear Actuator) and Secondary Drive (For Rotary Actuator) Unit. This ensures that the overload is monitored on Real time basis. This enhances Safety of the Driven Equipment.
  • TRACS actuators are supplied with high deflection Helical Springs, which are easier to maintain or adjust at site.
  • TRACS Gate and Damper Actuators are offered with Site Wall Mounted Starter Panel for local operation.
  • All limit switches provided in TRACS actuators are of Precision type which are sturdier & more user friendly to adjust by Standard tools available at site as against delicate & complicated Micro limit switches provided by all valve actuator manufacturers.
  • Due to all above features TRACS Actuators are more reliable in Gates & Damper applications & require minimum level of trained manpower at site, to adjust or maintain.

Linier Actuators General Specifications

  • Provided with in-built torque & overload limit switches, with the actuator. The limit switch confirms to IP–65 protection class.
  • Standard actuators are available in foot cum hollow shaft, flange mounted design.
  • Most suitable for operation in remote – auto mode through PLC / DCS.
  • Provided with standard 3 phase, TEFC motor confirming to IP-55 protection class.
  • Manual operation facility is standard feature for TRACS actuator.
  • Optional position transmitter provided with one of the standard o / PS;
     ANALOG viz. 0 – 135 / 1K / 2K OHMS, 0 – 20 mA, 0 – 5 V DC.
     DIGITAL SIGNAL viz. Pulse thru Optical Encoder, RS – 485, RS – 232C.

  • Optional in-built end travel limit switches having 1NO + 1NC contacts.
  • Optional external travel limiting switches can be provided for fitment on the driven equipment surface.
  • Threaded output shaft provided on request, for rising spindle applications.

Rotary Actuators General Specifications

  • Provided with in-built torque & overload limit switches, with the actuator. The limit switch confirms to IP–65 protection class.
  • Can be installed in any direction.
  • Standard actuators are available in foot cum hollow shaft, flange mounted design.
  • Most suitable for operation in remote – auto mode through PLC / DCS.
