CEROMAT PULLEY LAGGING

Belt conveyors are commonly used to transport product in a straight line or through changes in elevation or direction. For conveying Bulk Materials like Grains, Ore, Coal, Sand, Lime stone etc. Most important components of the Belt Conveying System are the Pulleys and Idler rollers include the Drive Arrangement. The function of conveyor pulley arrangement is to give drive to the belt by maintaining necessary tension in belt & to keep the belt in appropriate position during operation.

The co-efficient of friction between pulley surface & belt is most critical. Diamond groove pattern rubber lagging is traditionally done on pulley surface by system owners to increase the co-efficient of friction. It is observed in wet & dirty conditions the co-efficient of friction between pulleys & belt surface is reduced &
causes the belt slippage. We offer high co-efficient friction materials for pulley lagging. It is a combination of Ceramic & rubber. We offer complete solution for pulley lagging activity including product supply & application of lagging material on pulleys.

Applications

Drive Pulley : Non-Carrying Surface

Snub Pulley : Carrying Surface

Bend Pulley : Carrying Surface

Product Features:

  • Exceptional gripping of the pulley surface on belt during operation.
  • High coefficient of friction (0.7 to 0.8).
  • Special non clogging design.
  • 90 to 92% Alumina content in ceramic tiles hence no water absorption.

Benefits:

  • Virtually eliminates conveyor belt slippage even in wet & dry conditions.
  • Exceptional wear resistance hence minimum lagging life is 3 Years even
    while handling highly abrasive materials.
  • Increased traction hence no belt sway.
  • Significant reduction in power consumption of conveyor motor.
